A pristine, unissued US Government Issue (GI) Green Beret from the height of the Vietnam War. Markings inside confirm the contract DSA100-68-C-0965, dating it specifically to 1968. Sourced directly from the estate of Special Forces trooper Norton, making this a piece with solid provenance. Unlike many surviving examples, the wool is free of moth damage and the interior silver stamping is crisp and bright. Features correct black eyelets with screens. Size 7 1/8.

A superb example of the scarce Rubberized M3 Medical Bag (Instrument and Supply Set No. 3). Manufactured by Eastern Canvas Products Inc., this waterproof variation was standard issue during the Korean War and early Vietnam era. Unlike many surviving examples, the rubberized fabric on this bag is supple and free of dry rot, and all zippers are fully functional. The kit comes loaded with vintage medical supplies, including boxed muslin bandages, Johnson & Johnson gauze, and a highly collectible glass bottle of Norwich Aspirin. An authentic vintage US Army Special Forces (Airborne) Shoulder Sleeve Insignia. This is the highly desirable "Cut Edge" (flat edge) variant, which dates this patch to the Vietnam War era (specifically pre-1968, before the Army switched to merrowed edges). The patch is in used condition, likely removed from a uniform, adding to its historical provenance.

The M1967 USMC Combat Field Pack nylon pack was designed by the Marine Corps Airborne Forces Development Center as a replacement for the M1941 Haversack.1 The design of the pack evolved from the experimental XM1964 Haversack and featured two external pockets in addition to the main storage compartment, which had a waterproof rubberized collar. The top flap had two side strap hinges and one in the middle for attaching a blade carrier.

When matching USMC M1967 straps were used with the gear belt, the pack was worn on the back by attaching the top loops to the shoulder hooks of the straps and connecting the pack carabiners to the carabiners on the straps. Alternatively, it could have been worn as a backpack by connecting the front and back sling straps to the D-rings on the bottom of the pack.
