What makes this piece highly sought after is the backing material: the text is embroidered directly onto a strip of iconic HBT (Herringbone Twill) fabric. This combination of the dark embroidery (introduced in 1966) and the older, durable HBT canvas from the Korean War era makes it a classic transitional artifact. The tape is in perfect, unissued New Old Stock (NOS) condition.

This 15kg air-delivered sensor was designed to be dropped onto the Ho Chi Minh Trail to detect Viet Cong movement as part of the secret Operation Igloo White (McNamara Line). This is an Inert / Training example dated 1968. It remains in excellent condition with the stabilizing fins still taped for storage.

Firepower slung over your shoulder! Up for sale is a genuine US Army cotton bandoleer for 5.56mm M-16 magazines (7-pocket version). The crisp ink stamp reads "CHASE BAG CO. 7-73-B", securely dating this piece to the very end of the Vietnam War in 1973. The bandoleer is in mint, unissued New Old Stock (NOS) condition. As a fantastic historical detail, it still features the original large safety pin attached to the shoulder strap, which soldiers used to adjust the length in the field.
