This is the tactical subdued version (OD/Black) of the famous large horse-head shield, authorized for wear on Jungle Fatigues. The classic flat "cut-edge" border, along with the unsealed reverse showing period-correct white bobbin threads, confirms it as a 100% authentic, US-made piece from the late 60s. Mint, unissued New Old Stock (NOS) condition.
