Originally issued to downed aviators, this high-intensity strobe became a favorite tool among special operations forces (MACV-SOG, LRRPs, SEALs) for marking LZs and signaling extraction choppers through the dense jungle canopy. This strobe is in beautiful collector condition and comes complete with its original nylon carrying pouch and the extremely rare, original vintage BA-1574/U battery (dated 1971). Due to the obsolete battery, functionality is untested; sold as a historical display piece.
