It features the period-correct black aluminum frame. The pack carries the original owner's name and showcases a genuine "field expedient repair": the waist belt (kidney pad) is secured with wire where the original turnbuckle/nut was lost. A true survivor with undeniable character.

Published by the renowned U.S. Army Infantry School at Fort Benning in February 1970, right in the Vietnam War era. The manual is heavily illustrated with step-by-step photographs demonstrating close combat techniques using the M16 rifle.
