Unused Body Armor, Ground Troops, Variable Type vest with plates. Size Medium Long. Contract DSA 100-69-C-0548. Perfect unused condition. There is a small tear in the cotton fabric on the inside back see photo.

The vest was tested by the 1st Cavalry Division in Vietnam from January to May 1967, and although it was too heavy for foot mobile operations, it was recommended for personnel involved in escorting convoys and motorized patrols.

Meal, Combat, Individual B-2 Unit. Perfect condition. Canned food not bloated or damaged. Not for consumption.

Lightly used USMC trousers in Frogskin (Duck Hunter) camouflage. These are pants from the test series before the introduction of the P1941 uniform. Waist 72cm, leg length from waist 100cm, leg length from crotch 74cm.

Used USMC Sage Green HBT Coverall from the first contract. This type of jumpsuit was also issued by the Paramarines and was worn with the first type of parachute paramarines jacket. The jumpsuit is used in several places is the name of the original owner. The size label is missing. Size for a figure of approximately 190cm.

Used black 11th Cavalry beret with original oval patch. Size is approximately 6 7/8.

Special Forces Operations Manual FM 31-21 - 1965.

Introduced in 1971 as part of the LINCLOE (Lightweight Individual Clothing & Equipment) program that lead to the ALICE system, these nylon pouches accommodated three thirty-round magazinesfor the M16 rifle. Though the later LC-1 cases had the same grenade pockets on each side and suspender snap eyelet on the back, the LINCLOE pouch uniquely had individual flap covers for each magazine compartment. The flaps were designed to ensure that the magazines remained in their proper positions when one was removed, but they also slowed magazine removal.

USMC adopted the LINCLOE pouches in 1972 and Marines guarding the U.S. embassy in Saigon in April 1975 are thought to have carried them.
